I explored the semantic and expressive potential of typography to visually interpret a transcript from a black box recording of Comair flight 5191. The transcript, which is in the form of the boarding pass, a map of the accident area, a paper plane with a witness report and baggage/mortuary tags of the dead captain, air steward and co-pilot are contained in the black box.
